About This Instrument
At twelve inches, this Tibetan singing bowl enters the register where sound becomes as much physical sensation as acoustic experience — its bass tones felt in the chest as well as heard by the ear. Hand-hammered from brass in the classical Himalayan tradition and etched with sacred symbols, it is an instrument of ceremony and meditation in equal measure.
